The Genesis of HALO 470
The idea for the HALO 470 was conceived in a unique way — through a simple question posed in a Yacht Captain/Crew forum. The discussion led to a collaboration that ultimately catalyzed Ocean 1’s venture into the super console arena. Realizing that a 47-footer could be the sweet spot for their next class of vessels, Ocean 1 committed to setting a new standard for both versatility and luxury in hard-sided boats.
Unparalleled Customization and Versatility
Hull #1 of the HALO 470 has just touched water, showcasing diesel inboard power, an open transom for launching kite surfing equipment and a SeaDoo PWC, and a suite of adventure-tender specific electronics. Tailored to the modern adventurer, the 470 is not just fish and dive ready but also accommodates sleeping quarters for 2-4 people. A subsequent outboard version is already in the works, aimed at the luxury sport fish enthusiast.
